Love Cosmic Gate's "Exploration of Space" track, but that was years ago when Markski put it on one of his SKI MIXes.

And of Course I'm getting hip to Deviant's "Toes In The Sand" label. Every track I'm digging more and more.

There are also other opportunities for Electronic Dance music parties, if promoters are interested. I know the management started off rocky, but it seems like they want to head in the right direction, finally. I think they want to change the perception of what has been going on there for years. I know a couple of you have had them in mind for some parties and definitely think you should try again, might have a little more success.

I think you have your answer to that question, plain and simple. Mike seems to provide Cleveland with nothing but the best. I support anyone that goes out of their way to bring nothing but the biggest talent . No ass kissing, just appreciation.

Jon Swink just happens to be one of the best trance dj's in Cleveland, witnessed a couple of his sets and must say, I think his set isn't to miss. I am very excited about this show.

I think what NeoRude meant is that "ON POINT PRODUCTIONS" (of which Jon Swink wasn't a part) was SHAWN CARSON who brought a plethora of djs to Cleveland from 1999-2003. He was booking national djs at AQUA, and was the only person to do so there. He also brought people to Funky Buddah including LTJ BUKEM, PAUL JOHSON, and a bunch bunch more. He was also one of the founders of Nitty Gritty. He also booked shows in Chicago under the name On Point. That dude did a lot of cool stuff for Cleveland.

I'm suprised this is the first anyone mentioned it, I've been seeing it for a minute now. Sometimes I think people should be required to take history lessons and be licensed to be part of the scene Wink J/K.

Anyways... this sounds cool. Glad to see Jason Allen and Cubby getting booked!

Personally, I think their set will be off the hook. I think that this show is well rounded and should entertain all different kinds of music lovers. Doug if it isnt a problem, I would like to sell tickets at poo-bas. Let me know and I can get you the tickets.

Here is there bio:

Vorsprung Durch Technik (or 'Advantage through technology' in English) pretty much sums up the typical German stereotype. Super efficient, groundbreaking and full of innovation. If Mercedes are this to the motoring world then Cosmic Gate are paralleled within the world of electronic music.

After a chance meeting at a record label head office in Germany, Claus Terhoeven (Nic Chagall) and Stefan Bossems (Bossi) have created and inspired some of the most influential music ever to hit our dance floors over the past decade.

Today, Cosmic Gate are rated number 23 in the online directory of the worlds leading DJs at DJlist.com whilst remaining a permanent fixture, positioned for three consecutive years inside the DJ Mag top 100 confirming Cosmic Gate amongst the elite of dance music's most famous and popular DJ duos.

During the trance boom of the late nineties no DJ set would have been complete without the sounds of Cosmic Gate. Original productions such as The Drums, Back To Earth, Exploration of Space, The Truth, Raging and the unforgettable Fire Wire, which reached #9 in the UK charts and dominated DJ record boxes, homes and car stereos across the globe for the majority of the synth filled millennium year.

In Germany the act have seen unequivocal fame with no less than seven chart top 40 singles to their name along with two artist albums 'Rhythm & Drums' and 'No moreSleep' rocketing their way into the album charts.

Success after success with their own original productions has been accompanied by an impressive repertoire of Cosmic Gate remixes, for artists including Tiesto (Urban Train), Ferry Corsten (Punk), Blank & Jones (DFF), Svenson & Gielen (Answer the Question) and Vanessa Mae (White Bird) to name but a few.

Behind the decks, Cosmic Gate can be found week in week out performing at the worlds leading clubs from Velfarre in Tokyo to Glow in Washington and from The Gallery in London to Sydney's massive Home club. European festivals such as the legendary Nature One and Mysteryland have paved the way for the Cosmic Gate DJ experience to be appreciated in full effect.

Regular DJ appearances on every continent including major stop offs in Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States have given Cosmic Gate the chance to reach their truly global fan base.

Cosmic Gate have always been, first and foremost about their fans. The ability to adapt and change their musical style with the ever changing face of dance music has seen the Cosmic Gate sound develop and move away from the harder edge trance through to their current, more subtle yet still driving energetic music style.

Cosmic Gate recently released Back 2 Back vol. 2, the second in the mix compilation series distributed through the worlds leading music companies. These include Black Hole Recordings globally, Ministry of Sound in Australia and Sheer Music in South Africa. A superb testament to their popularity with sales figures continuing to soar into the thousands.

The duo are currently working on their third artist album, arguably their best yet. Comprising a mixture of vocal and instrumental tracks the album combines progressive elements with trance, techno, tech-house, electro and house.

Due for release in April 2006, the fifteen track artist album will not only include their recent hits Ultra Curve, Bilingual, Monotone and I Feel Wonderful (feat. Jan Johnson) but will deliver a phenomenal blend of driving cool club tracks, a certain for airplay from the worlds other leading DJs and set to edge Cosmic Gate in the same direction they have been moving throughout the past decade - right to the top.

Of course it wouldn't be a problem! Be happy to sell them!

Unfortunately I'll be at a wedding that night (Jamie & Valerie from the forum here) so if I make it will be very late.

German Exchange students that pound some hard ass beats. Laughing Lucic's is making an attempt to be a viable club, I am glad they are finally giving other promoters a shot to do more. It seems that they had no clue how to do business and scared a lot of people off, even me at first. I think once this show goes over well, there will be more to come.
